This has been an interesting yearl When the pandemic came and left Us all housebound;
used
it as an excuse t0 do some remedial work Id been dreading
-moving Pinboard onto modern
versions of PHP and MySQL_
had gotten to the point where
couldn't even run
bug-
for-bug identical copy of the site on
modern laptop_
and the senvers themselves were overdue
for system
upgrades
Much of the core code on the site dated back to 2009-2010 and was written by Past Me ,
vindictive
inscrutable nemesis who devoted his life
sabotaging Present Me_
