The Internet Research Task Force (IRTF) open session at the IETF
113 meeting will feature presentations on research into events that
could cause large-scale Internet outages and potential biases in
networking algorithm tests

Applied Networking Research Prize
The Applied Networking Research Prize (ANRP) awards recognize the best recent
results in applied networking research; interesting
new research ideas of potential
relevance to the Internet standards community; and people who are likely to have
an
impact on Internet standards and technologies in the future: The prize focuses
on
people or ideas that would not otherwise get much exposure or be able to
participate in networking discussions
